Japanese People

You must be astonished to know the fact that the world’s most of the centurions are found in Japan. This indicates that the people of Japan live a healthy life, and that’s why they can live long life. There is an island known to be Okinawa, where the world’s highest longevity people live. This land is also known to be, the” LAND OF IMMORTALS.” There you can find people having 90+ or even 100+ age very often. This age group is very common in that area. In our country, people of this age group are not found except in some rare cases.

Whereas the people of this age group in Japan perform their day-to-day activities themselves. All of you might be interested in knowing the fact behind it. I am going to disclose the fact before you. Read this article with patience. You are going to know the facts behind the long life of the Japanese. Are you guessing that by reading this article, you also will be able to live 100+ years? In fact NO. But if we implement the rules which I am going to explain, definitely you will be able to live a healthy, happy and successful life.

No Socio-Economic Division is There in Japan

No socio-economic division means that there is no social and economic division among the people of Japan. All the people there are socially and economically equal. There are two types of societies. They are horizontal and vertical. Japan is a horizontal society whereas our country is a vertical society. Horizontal society means that all the people are tied together with the same thread in the same straight line. This means that each and everyone is equal there. No one is below or above others. There is a principle called Itchi-Bachu-Chorae. In Japan, all the children are taught many things. One of them is Itchi-Bachu-Chorae. It means that whosoever you meet, you have to give respect to the person, doesn’t matter from where or from which country the person has come. The person’s caste, color, religion, creed, or social status doesn’t matter at all.

No social division is noticed in Japanese.

Another Principle

This principle also states that you have to consider every person as your brother, sister, or friend. You are supposed to treat the guest in the same way, as you treat your family members. It’s a wonderful principle. That’s why I called it a horizontal society. As for as the communication system of Japanese is concerned, it is vertical. Any person can talk to a person having higher status and at the same time, he/she can call anybody having lower status. It means that even the M.D of a company can be called by an ordinary employee or a person who doesn’t even belong to that company. In our country, there are so many restrictions, if you want to talk to any officer having a higher post, you have to wait for a longer period. It even may take months to meet the higher official.

Meaning Of No Social Division

No social division means, strong and healthy mental health. Also means, no worry, no depression, and no stress. That’s why Japan is a developed country. It’s also said that no country can be called a developed country, until and unless the people of that country desire to do so. Why not our country become a developed one? Let every one of us contribute towards the social cause. Let all of us pledge that we will respect every person we meet, irrespective of their color, caste, creed, religion, and country. Then it might be possible for us to live a long life. This high socio-economic condition makes Japan a country with a high longevity rate. All people there live a peaceful, stress-free, and most importantly, equal life.

They Live Stress-Free Life

All of you must be knowing the fact that above 90% of diseases in humans are caused because of high-stress levels. If our brain is not stress-free, it’s definite that we are going to suffer from many diseases like anxiety, depression, and many more metabolic disorder-related diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high uric acid level, and many more. Whenever our brain is in ‘DIS’ ‘EASE’, means that disease is created in our body. This disease starts damaging the cells of our body and we aren’t able to live a long life. There is a term known to be “PSYCHO NEURO IMMUNE.” This is the immune system present in our brain. It helps us in fighting against negative thoughts. Japanese have a strong psycho-neuroimmune system because of their stress-free lifestyle.

Why Japanese People Live Stress-Free Life 5 Reasons

1. Minimalism

Japanese people believe in the principle of minimalism. Their needs are minimal. They believe in the principle of simple living and high thinking. You might be astonished to know the fact that despite the good economic conditions, people prefer their children to go to their schools either on foot or by bicycle. They live simple life.

2. Debit Free Life

A person has up to 43% stress level if he/she is in debt. He/she remains under a high-stress level and continues to think about ways of becoming debt-free. In most countries, people are living a life of EMI’S. EMI of their car, EMI of their phone, EMI of their house, and so on. In this process, they put themselves under a lot of stress. We mostly see people living a luxurious life and we try to walk in their footsteps. In this process, we make ourselves overburdened under a load of EMIs. We are not earning money for ourselves but for paying our EMI and clearing our debts. In Japan, people live a debt-free life, which means that they live a stress-free life.

3. They don’t worry about things that are not in their control

Japanese children are taught right from their childhood, not to worry about things that are not in their control. Japnese believes in putting their best efforts into every work they perform. They can rebuild their country after any disaster but one thing is very clear to them, if things are out of control, don’t take the stress. They consider stress as a pyre where a dead body is placed. In short, we can say that they never take the stress.

We Too Can Mend Our Behaviour

We too can start behaving, in the same way, to remain stress-free. Whatsoever is out of control, we can’t do anything about it. So it’s wise to let it happen because we can’t fight against nature and natural calamities. We can’t stop earthquakes, cyclones, or other natural calamities. I am not saying that we are going to live for 100 years. My point is that whatsoever life we live, live happily and blissfully, without any stress.

4. Friendship

Japanese nurture their friendship. As stated earlier that they treat every person like their brother, sister, or a friend. A person who is connected with his/her friends lives a happy life. Every relation on the earth is predetermined or you can say that it happens by default. The only relationship over which we have control is the relation of friendship. We mostly share our happy and sad moments with them and get relaxed. By doing so we relieve our stress, and slowly and steadily stress is faded away.

5. One More Important Aspect Of Their Lives

One more important aspect of the people of Japan is that they believe in the principle of slow living. According to them living a slow life means increasing your life span. You might have noticed the participants in a marathon race. A participant who starts slower and saves his/her energy for the final stage of the game ends up as a winner while the participants who start on a higher note are exhausted and end up as looser. Slow living doesn’t mean working slowly at all.

An Advanced Country

Japan is a country where bullet trains run. Japan was the first country that invented the 5G, 6G, and 7G modes of communication. Slow living means a sense of calmness. They mean to say that we shouldn’t be controlled by our emotions, but in fact, we should control our emotions. When emotions start controlling us, our psycho-neuro system starts becoming weak and we fall prey to many diseases. When we see our neighbor purchasing a costly car. Our emotions become alive and we purchase the same car on EMI’s and start living a life of burden and stress. We should always try to ease our lives and not make them complex. I know that it’s not very easy but if we take one step forward, who knows, we may be able to compete with the Japanese.

As for the food items Japanese are concerned, they are very particular about their edible items. While taking their food, they have always health in their mind.

They take care of these things while having their food.

# Food

They teach their children to eat the food when it is in the form of a rainbow. Rainbow here means food items of at least seven colors. Moreover, they have very small plates mostly in the form of bowls and they eat raw vegetables plenty and believe in slow living and slow eating. The slower we eat the food, the easier it becomes for our body to digest it. Half the load of digesting food is performed in the mouth itself.

# Green Tea

Japanese prefer to take green tea instead of tea and coffee. In most restaurants in Japan, green tea is served free of cost. We all know that green tea consists of many anti-oxidants which protect our bodies against many diseases.

# Exercise

They prefer to walk and exercise daily. As stated earlier, the children are taught to go to their schools on foot or by bicycle. Despite having luxurious cars, they prefer to walk on foot. Nevertheless, this activity helps them and their children in developing strong bones, muscles, and nervous systems and you might also be astonished to know the fact that only 3% of the population in Japan is obese and we all know that Obesity is a common reason behind many diseases in our bodies.

Theme

Thus the theme is that the Japanese walk, eat raw vegetables, live a stress-free life, eat slowly, nurture their relationships and meditate. Since this is the reason behind their high longevity rate so let’s follow the same path and live a happy and stress-free life.
