Uric Acid Remedies

Dear friends, I am here again with a new topic that is  (URIC ACID, CAUSES AND REMEDIES). Friends every third person is suffering from this disease these days. Uric acid is produced when the body breaks down a chemical called Purine, which naturally occurs in our body. It is also found in various foods we take in our day-to-day life. This uric acid is thrown out of our bodies through Urination. It is mixed with Urine and thrown out of our body. The proteins we take are first broken into Purine in our body and then digested.

INTAKE OF A LARGE NUMBER OF PROTEINS IS RESPONSIBLE FOR IT

High uric acid patient.

Intake of a larger amount of proteins in our diet is one of the reasons for the higher rate of Uric acid in our body. When the level of Uric acid in our body increases, It starts accumulating in our joints and starts to harden up in the form of bones. In X-rays, we can see an extra mass accumulating around the joints. From here the painful life begins. When we visit a doctor, the patient is prescribed to take anti-inflammatory non-steroidal drugs, which give us a brief relief from pain, thereby giving many side effects to our body.

HIGH PURINE VEGETABLES

Broccoli.

Studies have shown that vegetables high in purine don’t increase the risk of Gout or recurring  Gout attacks. A healthy diet based on lots of fruits and vegetables can include high Purine vegetables such as asparagus, ginger, spinach, peas, cauliflower, or mushrooms. The person can have beans or lentils which are moderately high in Purines but also a good source of Proteins. Greens rich in sulfur such as asparagus, broccoli, parsley, celery, carrots, cucumbers, red onion, and tomatoes are good to consume. In addition to bell peppers, lettuce, squash, pumpkin, watermelon, green beans, cinnamon, nettle soup, coffee, and probiotics such as pickled greens and yogurt can also be taken.

EAT HIGH POTASSIUM-RICH FOODS

Potassium rich food.

Foods rich in high potassium content should be taken in large quantities. Products rich in potassium are prescribed to people having a high quantity of Uric acid. Potassium citrate helps alkalize our urine and improves the excretion of uric acid. Potassium is widely available in fruits and vegetables. The most beneficial sources include broccoli, celery, avocado, spinach, and romaine lettuce. If you want to take the supplement, consider using potassium bicarbonate. Potassium bicarbonate is probably the best potassium source to use as a supplement.

AVOID SUGAR

Sugar

Uric acid is a byproduct of fructose metabolism. Fructose is the only type of sugar that will raise our Uric acid levels. They typically generate uric acid within minutes of ingestion. The ideal range of uric acid is between 3 to 5.5 mg/dl. The connection between fructose consumption and increased uric acid is so reliable that a uric acid level taken from your blood can be used as a marker for fructose toxicity.

AVOID ORGAN AND GLANDULAR MEAT HIGH IN PURINE

Organ meat.

The liver, kidneys, and sweetbreads have high levels of Purine. They contribute to high blood uric acid levels and hence should be avoided. Organ meats, brewer’s yeast, sardines, and tuna packed in oil, chicken livers, and beef all have over 100mg of Purine per 100g of product. We know that they all contain high-quality Purine.

AVOID SELECTED KINDS OF SEAFOOD

Sea foods containing high quantity of purine.

Taking anchovies, herring, sardines, mussels, scallops, trout, haddock, mackerel, and tuna is prohibited because they all contain high-quality Purine.

DON’T CONSUME ALCOHOL

In a survey, it has been proved that the people taking alcohol have a high quantity of alcohol in their blood as compared to non-alcoholics

LARGE INTAKE OF VITAMIN C

Foods rich in vitamin c

Intake of vitamin-c can help in lowering the level of high Uric acid in our blood. Vitamin-C-rich citrus fruits such as lemon are good in high uric acid. Digestive enzymes from pineapples, papaya, and mangoes help a lot in reducing the Uric acid level. Good fats in avocado, coconut, and fruits such as apples, Kiwi, plums, pommel, pears, cherries, peaches, and blackberries are also good sources for reducing the uric acid in our blood.

COFFEE AND CHERRIES

It has been found during research that moderate coffee consumption may be associated with a reduced risk of gout, particularly with regular coffee intake. Drinking coffee may not be good for people suffering from other diseases. You may consult your doctor before having a go at it.

Cherries are also said to reduce the uric acid level in the body. So cherries can be made a part of our diet.

REDUCE STRESS, HAVE A GOOD SLEEP, AND PRACTICE GROUNDING:

In such conditions, it is advised that the suffering should remain calm. He should be stress-free and should have good sleep, at least 7-8 hours a day. Moreover, Grounding or earthing is the process of walking or standing barefoot on bare earth and permits free electrons from the earth to enter our bodies. These powerful antioxidants combat free radicals in our system. Grounding may also reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases and may make our blood thinner so it is suggested that such people should start walking on a dewy, grassy area barefoot. If you live near a large water body, it is a great location to live. We all know that water is a good conductor. Walking barefoot in water may charge your body’s electrons and reduce the risk of Gout.

DRINK PLENTY OF WATER

It is suggested to people suffering from High quantities of Uric acid that they should drink plenty of water daily. If 4-5l of water is taken by such people, will definitely reduce the level of Uric acid in their body. Moreover, the larger the quantity of intake of water, the lower will be the level of Uric acid in our body because uric acid is excreted by our body through urine. The more we will urinate, the more uric acid will be excreted from our bodies.
