Best Places To Visit In Kuala Lumpur/Malaysia
1. Petronas Twin Towers
It is the most famous tourist spot in Malaysia having the distinction of being the world’s highest twin towers. It is considered a landmark of a visit to Malaysia. Its height is 452m and has 88 floors. In this tower, you can visit the sky bridge which lies on the 42nd floor, having an entry ticket of Rs 1000. You can also visit the observatory that is on the 86th floor, having an entry ticket of Rs 1800. The rest of the floors have various offices on them.
2. Aquaria
After visiting Petronas Twin Towers, you can visit another marvelous place ‘Aquaria’, which is within a walking distance of the twin towers. Here you will find various rare types of marine species. The entry ticket will cost you Rs 700. If you want to go underwater diving, you have to pay Rs 4000 for it.
3. Menara (K.L Tower)
This tower is also known by the name K.L Tower. Its height is 421m. It is the world’s 7th tallest tower. The entry fee for this place is Rs 1100. You can have a 360-degree view of Kuala Lumpur city from here. Here you can feel as if you are touching the sky while standing in the observatory.
4. Jelun Allon Jes
If you want to enjoy the nightlife in Malaysia, then you can visit Jelun Allon Jes. You can enjoy clubbing disc and body massage in this area.
5. Batu Caves
It is a famous tourist spot to visit. You can reach the spot by using metro services. From the K.L metro station, you can get a direct metro to Batu caves. It will drop you at your destination in nearly 50 minutes. Here, you will find many Hindu Temples. To have a glimpse of these temples, you are supposed to move upstairs. The total number of stairs is 272. You can see the main temple after walking upstairs and will be astonished to find many Indians in those Temples. You will find yourselves relaxed in those Temples.
6. Zoo Negara
From Batu caves, you have to cover 10kms to reach Zoo Negara. You can hire a taxi to cover the distance. The entry ticket to Zoo Negara is Rs 1500. You can also explore wild animals here. Different animal and bird shows can be seen here.

If you love beaches then you should visit Langkawi also. The distance from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi needs 7-8 hours to reach the spot. You are supposed to travel by bus on two routes. First from Kuala Lumpur to Korlaparis, then from Korlaparis to Langkawi. It will nearly cost you Rs 1300- Rs 1400. If you take the aerial route from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi, you will reach the spot in 1 hour and 30 minutes. It will cost you between Rs 1000- Rs 1500. So, it’s better to take the aerial route.
Here you can have a ride on the cable car. The fare of having a ride on the cable car is Rs 1600. During your ride, you will witness the real beauty of nature. The total length of the route is 2.5km and the ride time is 15 minutes. You can see the whole adjoining area while having a ride in this cable car. After reaching the sky bridge, you can spend some time there and in the afternoon you can take your flight back to Kuala Lumpur and then from Kuala Lumpur to India.
