These days every third person is suffering from obesity. Every person wants to lose weight. They find it very difficult to do so. It’s not too easy to lose it. Most obese people gain weight because of the wrong lifestyle and their eating habits. It needs strong willpower to get rid of this menace. I am today going to disclose some of the ways by which you can lose weight that too in a short period.

Tips Are:

  • Chew food properly before swallowing it.
  • Eat slowly.
  • Take a whole food diet.
  • Make a habit of drinking tea or coffee in limited quantities daily.5/ Try to take a high protein diet, especially at breakfast.
  • Try to eat soluble fiber as it is easily digestible.
  • Eat water-soluble fiber.
  • Reduce intake of carbohydrates to 1/4.
  • Don’t drink water before half an hour and after one hour of taking a meal.
  • Avoid sugary products.

CHEW FOOD PROPERLY BEFORE SWALLOWING IT

Chewing food properly helps it to masticate and get it mixed with saliva. Saliva contains a digestive enzyme namely ptyalin which helps in its proper digestion. When food is digested properly, it is not converted into fats and doesn’t accumulate inside our bodies.

EAT SLOWLY

Food should be eaten slowly so that it is properly masticated and well mixed with saliva. Spare at least 15 to 20 minutes for eating your meal.

TAKE A WHOLE FOOD DIET

It means that one should eat fibrous food in plenty i.e. fruits, salad, etc. One should neglect eating fast food. Fast food contains plenty of fats in them. These are indigestible fats that stick with our intestines and start forming layers of fats.

TRY TO TAKE A HIGH PROTEIN DIET ESPECIALLY AT BREAKFAST

It’s a well-known proverb that “well-begun means half done.” So, try to start your day with high-quality protein. Try to make sprouted grains or fruit juice in the morning. These foods are easily digestible. Proper digestion of food means fewer fats.

TAKE DIGESTIBLE FIBRES

As stated earlier, one should take fibers that are easily digested by our body

REDUCE INTAKE OF CARBOHYDRATES TO 1/4

One should reduce intake of carbohydrates to 1/4. Carbohydrates are the main culprit in increasing the weight of a person. As we all know that most of our energy needs are fulfilled by carbohydrates. Some of us take these carbs in plenty, as a result, they become very fat and give an invitation to many dangerous diseases.

DON’T DRINK WATER FOR HALF AN HOUR AND AFTER ONE HOUR OF TAKING A MEAL

Our body needs heat to digest food properly. If we drink water immediately after the meal, it reduces the temperature of our body, thereby reducing the rate of digestion. If it’s an emergency then one can take hot or Luke warm water for better digestion. You might have noticed that army men take hot water after their meal. That is why they are slim and trim.

REDUCE INTAKE OF SUGAR

Sugar is another reason for the accumulation of fats in our bodies. So try to avoid it if you want to reduce fat in your body.

  • Avoid fried foods
  • Use fat-free or reduced-fat milk instead of whole milk
  • Eat more fruits and vegetables
  • Remember to reduce carbs in your diet
  • Going to bed a bit earlier and getting up earlier can also be useful
  • Keep yourself physically active
  • Try to have a walk after taking dinner.
