As we all know today’s life is very fast and stressful. Every person sweats to the fullest, to earn a livelihood. Everybody is living a stressful life because of one reason or the other. Some are stressed because of their workload, some are stressed because of the future of their children, some are stressed because of their illness, and because of so many other reasons a person can be leading a stressful life. This stress has a direct impact on our health, especially on our brains. The person remains thinking all the time, and as a result, the person isn’t able to get a sound sleep.
Problem Starts Here
Here the problem begins. The time during which our brain relaxes and prepares for the next day’s work is not utilized properly. As a result, when the person gets up the next morning, he/she isn’t in a relaxed state of mind, and the said person feels uncomfortable. The brain is confused and the person feels tired as if he has done a lot of physical work. This is what improper sleep can do to our bodies. The said person isn’t able to live a happy and stress-free life. Now the question arises, how to get ourselves rid of this situation. I am going to share some tips so each and everyone can at least get a sound sleep. I will share causes, symptoms, prevention measures, and treatment without any medication. So, read the rules, implement them in your lives and please share your responses too. If implemented properly, this disorder will be thrown out of your lives once and for all. Some of us can have a sound sleep, some aren’t able to have a sound sleep whereas the rest of us aren’t able to sleep even for a while during the night.
We Divide Sleep Disorders Into Three Main Categories:
1. When a person isn’t able to sleep for one or two hours after getting laid down in his/her bed.
2. When a person gets up several times during the night and finds it difficult to sleep again.
3. When a person awakes very early in the morning.
This is what can happen with a person during the night and if the said person isn’t able to sleep during the daytime then it is known as insomnia.
Some Common Symptoms Which May Appear In The Suffering Person
1. Weakness and fatigue.
2. Headache.
3. Blur vision.
4. Feeling very tired.
5. Mood swings.
6. Irritable nature.
7. Lack of concentration.
Causes Of Insomnia
1. A person suffering from a joint problem, backache, lung problem, heart problem, etc, maybe the reason for insomnia.
2. Some of the medicines may have an alerting impact on our brain. Such medicines shouldn’t be taken before going to bed.
3. Routine of a person also plays a very important role in causing this disorder. I have seen many people who work during late hours, some of them play games on their mobiles and some do their official work on computers or laptops. These practices harm our sleep.
4. While going to bed if a person has many thoughts going through his/her mind, this can also harm his/her sleep. So, it is suggested that whenever we go to bed, all the thought processes have to be removed from our brains.
What To Do And What Not To Do
1. Don’t take plenty of food for dinner but make sure that you have taken enough food so that you can get a sound sleep.
2. Try to take white rice during dinner.
3. When we are not tired, in that we are not supposed to get a sound sleep. So try to perform some physical activities during the day so that your body feels tired.
4. Before going to bed take one glass of milk and add one teaspoon of honey.
5. Don’t allow thoughts to roam in your mind while lying on the bed. If you are lying in bed and some sort of thought process is going on in your mind, in that situation you will not be able to have a sound sleep. Even during your sleep, your brain will continue to work in such a situation and when you will get up the following day, you will be in a confused state of mind.
6. You can take camomile tea before going to bed.
7. Don’t use a laptop, television, or computer in your bedroom.
8. The people who take tea, coffee, soup, or salad, before going to bed aren’t able to get sound sleep.
Do these things and then tell me why you are not able to have a sound sleep.
Prevention And Cure
A yoga expert when consulted, revealed the facts and benefits of performing yoga to get rid of this disorder. She taught me the way of performing yoga for 40 days without skipping it any day or taking any break. According to her the people who are suffering from this disorder can feel great relief. I am sharing her experience in my own words with you.
By Performing Yoga
Sit in the posture, you feel comfortable with. Then bend your both hands and place them on your chest in such a way that your thumbs are facing upwards. Then close your eyes up to 90% if you have to open 10% part of your eyes so that you can feel light entering your eyes. Your chin should be slightly tilted towards your chest.
After That
Then you have to inhale air for five seconds and exhale for the same period. After exhaling you have to stop your breathing for 15 seconds. During this moment you have to pull your naval part inwards. Then repeat the same process again and again for 15-20 minutes a day or before going to bed. While performing this activity you are supposed to concentrate on your breath. Perform this activity for 40 days and you will start sleeping in a better way. Please share the difference you feel after performing this activity for 40 days, with me.
Keep Your Mind Cool
In our lives, each one of us is expected to face a variety of situations. We can’t expect every good thing to happen to us every time. Some of the incidents get stuck in our minds and we keep on thinking about them. There is no place on this earth where we can escape from such situations. The best thing for us is to face every situation with a calm mind and with patience. If we continue to think about such situations, they will distract our concentration. Especially when we are lying in our bed, we should escape from such thought processes. We can listen to music or divert our attention toward positive thoughts. We should have the strength to face any situation positively.
Prevention
1. Don’t take alcohol and avoid smoking.

4. Do some physical exercise every day.
5. Avoid taking tea or coffee before going to bed.
