You might have heard that every person has got some talent, the only thing is to recognize it and it’s said that if that talent is properly used in the future, one can live a successful life. Isn’t it? Do you agree with it? I will give an example to explain it. Suppose you want to be a cricketer, then imagine, what you need. Holding a bat in your hands and hitting the ball doesn’t mean that you are a good cricketer.
1. Practice Makes A Man Perfect
You are supposed to hit the ball consistently, which needs a lot of practice. By doing regular practice, you are enhancing your skill, not talent. So, try to remove the word “talent” from your dictionary. No such word exists. By practicing, you are adding to your skills, which may help you to lead a successful life. A person can do a job regularly only if he has an interest in that particular work. So, the first thing, which every one of us should look for is our interest. You can devote your precious time to any particular work if only you are interested in that work. So, if you have an interest, you can develop our skills by working on them.
2. Your Interest Will Not Allow You To Sit Idle
The main thing is that your interest in a particular activity will not allow you to sit idle and will force you to do the activity regularly. During this process, you automatically are developing your skill. Now how to know about an activity you are interested in? The activity or work you are interested in, you will do without any signs of discomfort or tirelessness. You repeatedly want to do it. You must have noticed kids and even grown-ups playing games on their cell phones or computers. They don’t even feel tired while doing this activity.
This means that the said person has an interest in that activity. Now the question arises how can you convert your interest into your profession? For this, you have to gain knowledge from different sources, like the internet, books, or from experienced people who deal with that profession. Without having complete knowledge you won’t be able to convert your interest into a profitable profession. That is where a guide is needed. A guide or a guru can show you the right direction. He/she can help you in enhancing your skill.
3. Role Of A Guide
Remember, the guide should be an experienced hand who can share true and required knowledge with you. A proper guide is a key to success. The guide should be a professional one and should be capable of enhancing your skills. He / She should be either a successful person in life or he/she should have guided successful persons in life. This is what a guide is and this is what he/she can do with your skills. His/her knowledge indeed can change the direction of your life. In this life, nothing can be achieved by questioning yourself only. It’s also said that questioning ourselves is the beginning of intelligence. This funda is not applicable in every aspect of life. The only thing is that after gaining the required knowledge, one is expected to jump into it.
4. Try To Do The Activity You Are Interested In
I want an answer from you. Can you be interested in inactivity, you don’t know about? You will say No. Suppose there is a game about which you don’t know anything. Can your interest be generated in that activity? You are expected to use the knowledge, whatsoever you have gained during your life, in finding your interest and then consult your guide. Your family business, your ideal person’s profession, or any other field might also generate your interest in that activity. If you are interested in your family business, you can take guidance from your elders, who already have been doing the work for years together. Along with their guidance, you can consult various books also. You have to keep one thing in mind your interested activity shall tend to generate a handsome income in the future.
5. In Case Of Any Doubt Elders Can Be Consulted
Even then, if you are not able to find an activity of your interest then you can consult your elders. In that situation, you are advised to search for other options also. You can visualize the videos of successful people. You may likely find an activity of your choice. Also try to see, what the successful people around you are doing. How they became successful. If possible, try to ask them. The choice remains in your hands
You are free to search for an activity of your choice. I am talking a lot about interest. The reason behind this is that without interest you can’t be able to achieve success in life. Look, if anybody is forced to do an activity in which he/she doesn’t have an interest, means that either the said person is going to live a normal life or he/she is going to quit it. If you have no or very little knowledge. It’s ok. So many options are there to improve knowledge. There are crores of success stories around you. The only thing you need is to follow in their footsteps.
6. Strong Determination Is A Key To Success
With interest, you also need strong determination and power to excel. You are supposed to move on even if you meet with failures. One should tend to never give up. You should move on with confidence, without any hesitation, once your activity of interest is found. Always listen to the voice of your brain, not your heart. Listening to one’s heart can make him/her weak. Suppose you start exercising in the morning. You won’t find your body comfortable for the next few days. In that case, most of us quit doing exercise.
Our heart says, who is going to do the same work every morning? Even though we know that exercise is good for our health. Those who listen to their heart, stop doing it whereas the person who listens to his/her brain continues to do it. This means that if you want to be successful, listen to your brain’s voice. Thinking by heart makes a person weak. So, after finding the activity of your interest, start doing it with strong determination, after gaining knowledge and performing it using your brain.
