Today I am with you on a new topic. It’s “curd. “Friends most of us love to take curd but we don’t know when to take it to get the maximum benefit of it. Today I am going to explain it in detail so that you may be benefited from getting this knowledge.

So, let’s start with the benefits of Curd. Since curd has a very good nutritional value so it can act as a substitute for Milk for those people who are Lactose intolerant. Moreover, milk contains Lactose which is not digested by most of us and we suffer from acidity so such people can obtain the benefits of milk by taking Curd in place of Milk and can get the required nutrients.

Since we all know that Curd contains bacteria. It is known to be Lactobacillus which is good for our health and helps us in the proper digestion of food so it’s very good for our bowl system as it helps in the excretion of solid waste from our bodies.

Moreover, Curd is a rich source of Calcium, it helps in making our bones and teeth strong so a person having a proper quantity of Calcium in the body has strong bones and never suffers from bleeding gums.

3. MAKES OUR IMMUNE SYSTEM STRONG

WHEN AND WHEN NOT TO TAKE CURD

1. Don’t take it empty stomach because it may cause acidity.

2. Don’t take it at night because it produces a cough.

3. If you want to take it at night, add some sugar to it and then take it.

5. Avoid cold and cough.

6. Never add salt to it because salt kills all the Lactobacillus it in and becomes useless as for as its nutritional value is concerned.7/ It increases vigor and strength. It increases metabolic mechanisms thereby curing several diseases. 

8. If anybody wants to add salt to it. Never use table salt instead you can use black salt so that its nutritious value doesn’t destroy. As stated earlier table salt kills the bacteria present in curd.

9. Moreover if somebody is suffering from acidity, he/she is prescribed to take sweet curd, and even if somebody is suffering from allergy, bleeding, body heat, or hair fall he should eat sour curd.

10. If somebody wants to take it with dinner, he/she can use it by adding black pepper and black salt to it so that its negative effects are destroyed.

11. Moreover if taken in the right combination with food it benefits us a lot and if taken with the wrong food it may secrete toxic substances inside our body as its combination with cucumber is very unhealthy. Its combination with cucumber secretes many toxins which cause skin energy and other diseases.

12. Don’t ever eat milk and curd simultaneously. Some more combinations of curd with other foods which shouldn’t be taken are curd and lemon: curd and fish: curd and banana: curd and sour fruits: curd and eggs etc. which may prove to cause various problems in the human body.

13. If anybody is suffering from a skin allergy he/she shouldn’t take curd because curd is hot by nature. The fact is that most allergies are caused because of internal heat. So taking curd or sour curd will not help the case and it may increase skin allergy.

14. One should avoid curd when suffering from joint pains. It increases the generation of more uric acid inside our body, which may worsen the pain prevailing in the joints.

15. Don’t use it for alienation with any vegetable. It may increase the taste of our food and satisfy our taste buds but on heating it the bacteria in curd die and its useful properties fade away.

16.  Don’t consume it in probiotic form. It may only increase your weight, as it is mixed with a high quantity of sugar in it.

17. It should not be taken daily. We should take it as seasonal food. We should prefer to take it empty stomach before taking breakfast without adding salt or sugar to it. You can add jaggery, honey, or black salt to it. These natural products don’t destroy good bacteria present in them.

18. Moreover according to Ayurveda, the best time to consume curd is the winter season and the worst time is the monsoon season. When humidity is at its peak, curd shouldn’t be consumed because it may cause an imbalance in your digestive system. These are the mistakes that we do while eating curd.
